The Armstrong Foil Drive Integrated Foil Assist Carbon Mast redefines what’s possible with powered foiling. Unlike standard integrated systems, this setup is purpose-built to reduce drag and unlock a smoother ride from takeoff to touchdown.

For beginners, that means easier lift and no more sudden stalls when the motor pod hits the water. For advanced riders, it’s seamless wave performance, which can glide through without experiencing drag or stopping abruptly, unlike with standard designs, where hitting the motor pod can cause you to bog.

Whether you’re chasing bumps on windless days or just starting out, it turns small waves into endless sessions with unmatched performance.

Please note: Foil Drive Motor and Battery are not included with the mast. To complete the Armstrong Foil Drive Kit, check out the bundle here.

Integrated Carbon Mast

Armstrong feel meets seamless power assist

Pod Position

185MM The Magic Number

The 185mm motor pod position hits the sweet spot for most foil-assist disciplines, low drag, well-balanced, and basically invisible once you’re on foil. While some advanced riders prefer to mount it closer to the board, and beginners stretch it outto 220mm for extra margin, 185mm remains thegoldilocks zone for everyday versatility.

Design

Foward-set Motor Pod

The motor pod is positioned further forward than typical integrations, reducing drag at the front end and enhancing lift from the prop. The result? Seamless acceleration and a noticeably smoother ride when powering up.

Construction

Premium Mast Feel

This mast uses the same layup and design DNA as our industry-leading Performance Carbon Mast meaning you get high stiffness, low flex, and ultra-precise feedback whether you’re pumping through bumps or carving through sections.

Technology

The A+ System is our proprietary foil assembly design that joins the mast, fuselage, front foil and stabilizer together for a solid and smooth feeling on the water.

COMPLETE THE SETUP

Please note that the Foil Drive motor and battery are not included with the mast. To complete the Armstrong x Foil Drive setup, check out the Foil Drive Bundles.
