System-Based
- Foils are built around the A+ System and Alloy System. These two systems share the same hexagonal front foil connection at the fuselage and trimmable stabilizer attachment in rear. This system facilitates product selection and enables modularity within the Armstrong foil component offerings.
- Boards feature the Dual Carbon Stringer System and Forward Geometry to deliver consistent high-performance and excellent feel underfoot regardless of shape and size.
- Wings are built using the Cross Panel Sail Design canopy construction system to provide a consistent high-performance feel in hand.
Modular
- Versatility is a core tenet of the Armstrong approach to product design, which is why every Armstrong foil setup is modular. Components should be easily interchangeable to match evolving conditions, chosen foil sport, rider preferences, etc.
- Components should be adjustable to accommodate different riding needs, styles, and preferences. For example: Footstrap inserts should allow for easy adjustment of the setup and a wide range of settings, stabilizers should be trimmable, and foil tracks should allow masts to have a range of placement on the board.
Futureproofed
- We are here for the past, present, and future of foil sports. We believe gear should be a lasting investment, which is why in addition to our durable high-quality construction, core products like masts and fuselages are futureproofed designs. The hexagonal fuselage remains year on year so that front foils and stabilizers of tomorrow are just as easy to swap out as today’s.
